Wedgwood Pale Blue Jasperware 250th Anniversary Creamer and Chamberstick, a signature unglazed matte stoneware featuring white bas-relief sprigged decoration. The first item is a commemorative creamer or milk jug produced to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Wedgwood (1759-2009). The vessel features a fluted lower body, a foliate-molded spout, and a scroll handle. The mid-section is decorated with a wide band of classical foliate scrolls and arabesques positioned beneath a laurel garland border. The base is impressed with the maker mark WEDGWOOD, the number 250, and a stylized W logo. It retains a retail label identifying it as a 250TH CREAMER and a small sticker stating Made in China. The second item is a neoclassical chamberstick comprising a central candle socket, a saucer-style base, and a ring handle. The saucer well is decorated with three distinct relief scenes depicting classical figures, including musicians and sacrificial themes, framed by a laurel leaf border. The candle socket is accented with upright leaf molding and a laurel band. The base is impressed with WEDGWOOD, MADE IN ENGLAND. Both pieces feature a silver circular provenance label for the Rubin Collection.
